Labor Day Fun

Jacob tried all day to stay away from my camera, but he finally said, "OK mom, here ya go." What a sweet heart.

Kaylee loves the park. She loves the camera too. Can you tell? She is quite a cutie and a very spirited young thing. Don't know the lucky guy in the backround.

I caught Hyrum right before he and his family left to go home and prepare for Chris' mom and grandma to come. I think he was sad to go, but taking home some awesome water pistol action helped his woes to not be so bad. Isn't he getting to be quite the big guy? Love you Hyrum!

Rick cooked all the food and did a wonderful job as usual, except forgetting all plates and utencils and somthing to flip the hot dogs with. But we are going to keep him any way. Mylee was done with the whole Labor Day thing, time to go home Dad.

Mylee was much happier when I took that wet t-shirt off and put a clean dry one on. That was also her first time to sit in grass with bare skin. She didn't think that was too bad.

More Labor Day Fun

Rylee kept getting into the ice because she thought it was like some princess crystal rings or something. Brrrrr!!!

Amaleki and Nephi sat by while Gideon was haveing a 13 year old moment. We still love him anyway too. I think he was watching how far that last watermelon seed went... whoa.. now that was far!!!

This is Ron Robinson. He was baptized a couple of years ago. He likes to be with our family since his is far away. He fits right in being a Robinson and all. He does tan better than the rest of us though.

Cheylee and Katherine cook up the last of the sausage dogs. Talk about two peas in a pod!! These two could pass for twins sometimes.

Lehi in front, Teancum and Moroni in the middle and Mosiah in back all had a great day with the water pistols. They are the next generation of cousins. You know like Jarom, Nephi, Jacob and Ki all went together, well, these kids are the next little clump to grow up together.

Family is great! It is very hard to get together sometimes, but in the end it is worth it. The memories they have of each other are priceless. We sure miss the ones we don't get to see very often. Love all of you.

Great Home Cooking With Great Looking Cooks

Teancum does a really great job when asked to help out. He even does it with a happy heart. Pretty good looking garlic bread wouldn't you say?

Moroni is an excellent homemade pancacke maker. It never fails when we have pancakes or waffles, Grandma and Grandpa Bates' names come up. OH and always the memories of their blueberry waffles and syrup! Yum!!

Cheylee had a birthday that we needed to "budget" for so her and Jacob decided to make one at home. We looked at some cakes at the store, came home and came up with this design. I thought they did pretty good for a last minute thing. No help from Mom. ( That's why it looks so good ;D ) I think we could have called it Death by Chocolate. MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Home School Drivers Ed

It's all fun and games until.......

Somebody gets hurt!

Back: Kaylee, Abigail, Teancum

Front: Cheylee and Kathryn

Just a little Homeschool humor. The kids had so much fun together on Labor Day. Mike and Kristine and family, Ben and Chris and family, and Rick and I and family and Ron Robinson (no relation) a good friend from Church , were all there. There were hot dogs, ribs, chips, tennis, basketball, soccer, and play ground equiptment. Oh, and lots of talking. Missed the rest of you though!

Getting to know Mylee and Rylee

Our youngest, Mylee, just days short of 8 months old. She is quite the bright eyes.

Since she has been teething, she has come up with this funny little squint thing. Too Cute!

This almost tells it all with Rylee. She will be 3 September 15th. She loves to ham it up and entertain.

Cute hat baby girl!

My sweet , # 1 Rylee girl. She is an absolute keeper!
