Breakfast with the other Robinsons

Jarom ,Nephi and Ammon came over to our house at about 6:30 am. They decided to go get breakfast and cook it at our house. We had two pans of fried potatoes, french toast, sausage, milk, strawberry milk, orange juice and eggs. It was a real treat. Jarom spearheaded the cooking and others helped here and there. All and all, it was a really awesome breakfast! Thanks!

Ammon is Mike and Kristine's 4th. He is 13. A very energetic entertaining kind of cousin. He is Gideon's very best friend in the world.

Jarom is a resposible no-nonsence kind of guy thats got a lot of serious things going on inside. He has a huge heart and would do almost anything to help out.

Nephi is a laid back easy going, can't wait to go to the dance or get on that really cool video game kind of guy.

We really love our Cousins!!!!!!

Childhood Memories

Devil's slide is a natural formation of rock that looks like a big long slide. It really is a miracle.
We stopped by Devil's Slide. For a Bonus we got to be by some snow. That doesn't happen real often where we are living now.

When my family would travel, I remember that Devil's Slide was always something to look forward to. Now, being a child , I would think -- how would the devil slide down without hurting his bum?-- He is a spirit so he didn't have a bum to get hurt anyway.-- Then why does he have a slide?-- Does it lead to Hell? These thoughts would fly through my head every time. I don't think I ever shared that with anyone until now. You can probably understand why. he he So when we had a chance to let my kids be in awe of this wonder of a creation , I jumped at that chance. I just wonder what went through their heads. Guess I won't find out until they are thirty something. (Not gonna tell) :)

July 4th with the Robinson Clan

Grandpa and Grandma and Kara got really good at the Wii. Though Grandpa was a little on the competitive side at times. ha ha
Kara was a wonderful Aunt that played lots of Barbies with Kaylee and hung out in Cheylee's room a lot.
Along with the Wii, we got DDR (dance, dance, Revolution). Cheylee and Kara were really getting down with the groove of it all.

Of course Grandma showed some of her love with her wonderful preparation of the food. Rick was really awesome too. I don't remember having to prepare too many meals. In fact, I don't remember preparing any. Ha Ha Isn't getting old great?Did I mention there were always Robinson bodies lying everywhere. Cliff and Karaleen and Kara stayed in a hotel. So all the bodies would leave at night. For a couple of days, we had 8 Adults and 25 kids . It was quite the family reunion. We got a call from Kalia. She was missed by everyone. My kids kept asking when Aunt Kalia was going to come. Then after Cliff and Karaleen went home, probably 2 days after, one of the kids asked if Grandpa and Grandma were coming over again today. I laughed and said Nope. They were really bummed when they finally understood they weren't coming over any more. Me too. We sure love Grandpa and Grandma and Kara, and Kalia.

Fun Place to take Pictures

Little Rylee will be 3 in September. She was trying to make herself some sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun. Too Cute!

You can't really see it but they are all on a giant turtle. Except Cheylee, she was brave and let the turtle be on her back!

Miss Mylee had fun posing. We couldn't pick just one so we just picked the first one we took of her.

Cheylee at 11. She only has 3 more months until she is a full time mutual girl. Whah-Who!

Rylee was just wondering if anyone else noticed they were standing on a Hippo! I don't think so.

A Day at the Community Pool

With a bunch of siblings, there is always someone to party with!

Cheylee wanted to show off "Her Girls" . I say they are all my bathing beauties.

Aunt Chris and her 3 boys Hyrum, Peter, and Hunter went with us. Aunt Chris had a jammin' train going in the pool. Aunt Chris is Awesome and Fun. The Kids really love being with her.

Oh Look! Moroni found a little mermaid in the water. I think we will take her home and keep her forever. Mylee loves the water. She has been a little fish since birth.

Kaylee loves her big sister. She looks up to her so much. They both love to be in front of a camera too!

A Day at the Park Feeding the Ducks, Geese, and fish

Teancum and Kaylee are about 20 months apart but are the same size. They are really good pals and can be found together quite often.
It was cloudy but the rays of the sun were more powerful than our eyelids!
Moroni is a very proud brother of baby Mylee.
Mylee does not lack in the love department, that is for sure.
I love my kids so much. They are wonderful. I need to enjoy them more on field trips. It was really fun after I quit worrying about them falling in. I am such a mom.

Kim and Kathy's, CC and Tia's House

Mom and dad were at Kim's house so we got to see both families. It was heaven. Don't they look wonderful? I love them so much. I am so thankful that eternity is so long. I love the idea a being a family forever. That sweet baby is my Mylee.

Rylee and Cheylee loved goofing around at Uncle Kim and Aunt Kathy's house. Very happy to be there.
This is Kim and Kathy's oldest, C. C. She is quite the cutie.

This is Kim and his beautiful wife Kathy. Tia is the baby of the family. She loves her grandpas like I have never seen before. She is a sweety and definitely a keeper! I sure love you guys.

Our Growing Family

This is in April at Kim and Kathy's house. They were very gracious and let us bombard them during conference. It was so wonderful to get to see family. I have not figured out how to put pictures in the right order yet. Sorry! You get the idea though right? he he

In the life of a family with a 16 year old licensed driver

This is not our first wreck , but it is the first that is our fault. Jacob was driving home from basketball and and just dropped off some friends at their house. It was about 10:30 pm, he was only a minute away from home. He needed to be in by 11:00 so he was even on time. But, he didn't see the car that was going 60 mph, pulled out slowly and heard Amaleki scream "Jake...." , then boom. No one was hurt badly but we, going through a financially tough time, only had liability. So our 2000 BMW is no more. Well, it actually is in our garage, but no more to be used on dates, go to seminary, take Rick to work, or go on business trips. Rick and I didn't get upset at all. To tell the truth, we were so happy someone didn't end up dead, or really hurt. I told Rick I don't even miss the car. I love my boys and am so glad that their time was not up yet. Love your family, you don't know when they leave the house that it won't be the last time you see them alive in this life. I am so grateful. That does not mean that he is not in hot water! ;)

Just a couple more pictures to help us remember how blessed we are.

We got it in the garage and there is stays until it finds out its final fate. Sad isn't it.
The air bags deployed and helped keep our boys safe.

The airbags broke the windsheild, not heads thank goodness!
