Kids grow up WAY TOO fast!

My little Kaylee just turned 5 on the 20th of June. It got me to thinking about when she was born. My mom stayed with us for two weeks babying the baby and me. It was Heaven. But time has flown by so fast that in that five years we have had two more beautiful, sweet babies! Wow is all I could think. So here is the low down with each child now days.

Jacob is now 6'1" and cant wait to get taller. He turned 16 last September and is one of the most active guy social bugs in the world. Hard to keep him home now that he has a license. He has been going out with the missionaries a lot, which I love. I think it is great that he can have those wonderful experiences now and not just on his mission. His dreams are huge. If he achieves a tiny portion of them his life will be full. He is wonderful with the kids and babies and just a wonderful son. I love him so much.

Amaleki is 15 years old, 6'0" and cant wait to get taller than his brother. He glories in anything that might bug his older brother. Ki has his driving permit and loves to drive anywhere and everywhere. Ki is a self taught computer and electronics kind of guy. I love having his help. I just don't understand how it comes so easily for him. He also has been an entrepreneur since he knew the value of money. He will go far in life. His sense of humor has sent me to floor several times. He also is very sweet with the kids and wonderful with the babies. I see a wonderful father in the making. His hugs are the best. His future wife will really appreciate that. I love him so much.

Gideon is a whoppin 13 years old and a head shorter than Jake. Do the math;) He is one of the most entertaining fun loving guys to be around. He has a Jerry Lewis thing kind of going. Really whacky and crazy but fun. I see him as some kind of engineer because he has a talent for looking at something and figuring out how it works. He has been making those gadgets since he was 3 that one thing rolls down, knocks the other thing over, which lifts somethings else that releases the thingy that then propels across the room:) Fun! His love for the little kids is amazing. A lot of the times when they are hurt they will go to him instead of just searching out for mommy. He has a very kind heart and extremely apathetic for others. Wonderful qualities for future daddy and hubby. I love him so much.

Cheylee is a couple inches shorter than Gideon and is 11 and turning 12 in October. She has been a heaven sent helper. You can imagine how having 9 children in 17 years might get a little crazy. Well, it still is crazy but she puts a whole lot of stability in the equation. She is an organizer, a teacher, baby bather, dresser, caregiver, cleaner, and the best part of it all is............. She loves it! I tell Heavenly Father and her thank you all the time. She is a fun loving , crazy dancing fool. Very cute. Her husband better be some kind of wonderful to get her for his catch. I love her so much.

Moroni is 9 and a little shorter than Cheylee. OK I don't know how tall he is, but he is a head taller than most the kids in his church class. He is tough in a lot ways like he hardly ever cries when he comes in bleeding but his feelings run twice as deep as the others. He is not one to demand attention but when it is wanted, he can be quite the tease. This past year has been quite hard for him because when a child turns 8, he gets the big kid jobs. He hasn't been to keen on that idea. He loves hugs!!!! Great baby holder, lover, entertainer. Invaluable! He has quite the little math brain. I love to take him to the store and have him keep track of the grand total. He is a budget saver for me. His hand writing is beautiful. He loves success in school and takes it a little too hard when he can't do something perfect the first time. He will do fantastic at whatever he sets his mind to. I love him so much.

Teancum is a whole other kind of kid. He is 6 turning 7. He is the same line of entertainment as Gideon only a little more abstract? You will just have to experience the child. Fun, Fun, Fun, with a whole lot of ?????????? to some of his thought process. He loves school and just pretty much loves life. He thrives on pleasing his mom and has so many complements that is usually called brown nosing by the other kids. All I can say is, I wish the others would brown nose a little more!!! He is definitely a lover not a fighter. He is great with the baby and loves to help mom in any way possible. I love him so much.

Kaylee is the same height as T. She is 5 going on 30!! She has been trying to keep up with T in school and is right there. She started reading at 4!!!! She take learning to the limits and pushes till her little brain can't hold any more. She is a dancer and love love loves to sing. She has a little vibrato thing going. Sounds pretty cute so far. She is following in Cheylee's foot steps in that she love to be a little mommy to the babies. She insists on changing the baby and does a great job. Poopy jobs too , gross I know. She likes to help in that way though.

Rylee is almost 3 in 2 months. She is what you would call a live wire. If she's not into something, she's thinking about it. She is very possessive of her baby sister. She loves to do anything with her big sister Cheylee. Cheylee pretty much has her as a puppet. Very entertaining with dancing and singing. Loves to perform. Her favorite thing in the world is to go. Just go in the car and never come back. She loves all her Grandpas and Grandmas and insists on talking with them as much as possible. She loves to swim. She wears her swimsuit/life jacket way too much. She is a huggy, lovey little girl. And she raids the fridge more than Jacob does. Especially if its cheese or sandwich meat.

Mylee is 6 months. She looks a lot different than any of the other kids. She is very mild tempered and pretty much just goes with the flow of things. She loves to be smothered in kisses. Never seen a baby enjoy 30 kisses at one time. She just soaks it up and almost asks for more. She love to get a baby massage every morning. She wakes up and stretches and we just give you a good rub down. Not because she needs it but because she acts so darn cute when you do it. She is definitely a keeper.

Flooding in Missouri

Yesterday the rain came, and came and came!
