I can't believe How Scatter Brained I can be!

Okay, so I am really happy that I figured out how to blog and put on pictures and we happen to just have a camera that works and the stuff to put the pics on the computer. Yah for me! But something had to go and ruin it all.

Rick and I and kids went to Nauvoo to help and see Grandpa Robinson get sealed to his parents in the temple. We were headed to see the sites on Sunday. I asked Rick to take out the diaper bag to the van (15 passenger hunk of a vehicle). For some reason he set it on the ground by the van. Our van was almost blocked in by another 15 pass van so Rick did some mighty fine maneuvering to get out of this drive way. He maneuvered right over the diaper bag and over the camera. So sad.

Then Rick surprised me with a new one for part of a late birthday/anniversary gift. It is better, prettier and just does more cool things. Even has a Charger so I don't have to keep buying batteries.

Make a long story not as long, I lost the charger somewhere. It is going to drive me crazy! I know I put it somewhere with Rick's phone charger so they " wouldn't get lost". AHHHHHH!!! So I decided to just start writing instead of only pictures. Turn it into a journal type thing along with a scrap book. I guess that is one way to start writing in a journal. So now with this blog we are going to get up close and personal at times!!! Hope to hear from all of you soon.

Park Day with Grandma Robinson and Kara

Aunt Kara was in charge of taming the tree monkeys.

Grandma said, "I'll give you three chances and if you don't behave.....".

We had to play patty-cake about 6 times in a row to get her to be happy.

Grandma lets the love shine through for her grandkids. Love you Grandma.

Kara is the best Aunt ever with the kids. She loves them, plays with them, and always tries to help to keep them happy in any way she can. We love you so much Aunt Kara.

Thanks Grandma and Kara for sharing our park day with us!

Teancum Is 7 !

This could be , perhaps, the sweetest kid ever. He turns 7 on October 25. Teancum is a very Happy-Go-Lucky kid. Not much phases him unless he is being teased. He helps everyone and anyone. He doesn't keep score with anyone and will usually forgive almost instantly. When he gets baptized next year , I think he won't have much to repent of ha ha. Good kid. Loves everyone. The best thing of all, he tells me I am the best mom in the whole universe. Isn't that all that really matters? I say...... Yes!

3 Birthdays Means One Really Big Get Together

Cousins....

More cousins.....

Decorations....

Kara wants to Party all the time! And advertise for Nauvoo on the side!

Room full of love, giggles, running , noise, and best of all family.

We Are In A Classic Book Club!!!

We are reading Secret Garden right now and it has been fun. I have never really been into reading a ton but some friends and my children convinced me to try it out. Wow, I actually really love it. The time reading with the kids has been great too.

Mistress Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?

Nothing like snuggling up with your big sister and listening to a good read. Cheylee gives lots of love to Rylee and Rylee gives it right back, in a good way of course.

Parting with One's Hair Can Be Such Sweet Sorrow

Aunt Chris is wonderful about sharing her talents and talented she is! Kaylee wasn't too keen on the idea of getting a hair cut but she just looks so darn cute with it the way
Aunt Chris does it and it is easy to take care of too.

Kaylee kept trying to watch but I think I told her to stop or her eyes would get stuck that way!

She had time to think about it all and finally came to the conclusion that everything would be okay. That of course was after I promised to go to walmart and get her pictures done!

Hunter patiently waited. He had a rough day. But yet he was still patient. He is the perfect houseguest. Eats whatever anyone else eats, helps clean up, and just plays nice. Love you Hunter!

More Pictures at the Park

There's my "T-Bub" just hanging around being the happy-go-lucky guy that he is. He is such a joy to have in the family. He loves to please. That usually means he is very kind, obediant and full of love for anyone.

Moroni is a great helper and loves to love the baby. He is a smart one he is. He amazes me with his school work. He is taking after his daddy with being able to retain and understand almost anything. Way to go Bub.

Miss Kaylee is growing up entirely too fast. She is following in her sisters footsteps by being the 3rd mom. The other day she was holding the baby, cleaning the front room and watching a movie at the same time. She wanted me to know just how talented she really is. Well, Kaylee my dear, I already knew. You are becoming a wonderful young girl!! I love you!

Fun at the Park with Peter and Hunter and Aunt Chris

Hunter is posing in action while Rylee climbs away. kaylee is racing to get the bars. They had tons of fun.
Peter and Teancum and Moroni do there Ninja, stick, boy thing. Higheeeee...ya!

All the kids love to take turns with Mylee helping her discover new things everyday. She loves her family! Cheylee is the best 2nd mommy a mom could have. I think she already loves and sees those sweet child moments and treasures them without having to figure that out as an adult. Hurray for her. Love my Kids!

It's Time To Try To Start Piano... Again!

Moroni is doing great and loves to play. He is very mathmatically minded so taking up the piano and been super fun.

Miss Cheylee is also doing great. Her personality is perfect for playing the piano and getting practice done when she should. She likes to work hard and achieve goals like you wouln't believe. She will go far in life.

I obviously need a better picture but this is what I have for now. Gideon has found a joy and a talent. He can memorize like crazy. It hurts my brain to think of how he does it. It is so fun to see his fingers fly, literally fly across the key board and it sounds great. He also sets goals and achieves them very quickly!

You three are awesome, thankyou for working so hard and making a mom really proud and happy. I love all of you.

We love you Rylee .

Labor Day Fun

Jacob tried all day to stay away from my camera, but he finally said, "OK mom, here ya go." What a sweet heart.

Kaylee loves the park. She loves the camera too. Can you tell? She is quite a cutie and a very spirited young thing. Don't know the lucky guy in the backround.

I caught Hyrum right before he and his family left to go home and prepare for Chris' mom and grandma to come. I think he was sad to go, but taking home some awesome water pistol action helped his woes to not be so bad. Isn't he getting to be quite the big guy? Love you Hyrum!

Rick cooked all the food and did a wonderful job as usual, except forgetting all plates and utencils and somthing to flip the hot dogs with. But we are going to keep him any way. Mylee was done with the whole Labor Day thing, time to go home Dad.

Mylee was much happier when I took that wet t-shirt off and put a clean dry one on. That was also her first time to sit in grass with bare skin. She didn't think that was too bad.

More Labor Day Fun

Rylee kept getting into the ice because she thought it was like some princess crystal rings or something. Brrrrr!!!

Amaleki and Nephi sat by while Gideon was haveing a 13 year old moment. We still love him anyway too. I think he was watching how far that last watermelon seed went... whoa.. now that was far!!!

This is Ron Robinson. He was baptized a couple of years ago. He likes to be with our family since his is far away. He fits right in being a Robinson and all. He does tan better than the rest of us though.

Cheylee and Katherine cook up the last of the sausage dogs. Talk about two peas in a pod!! These two could pass for twins sometimes.

Lehi in front, Teancum and Moroni in the middle and Mosiah in back all had a great day with the water pistols. They are the next generation of cousins. You know like Jarom, Nephi, Jacob and Ki all went together, well, these kids are the next little clump to grow up together.

Family is great! It is very hard to get together sometimes, but in the end it is worth it. The memories they have of each other are priceless. We sure miss the ones we don't get to see very often. Love all of you.

Great Home Cooking With Great Looking Cooks

Teancum does a really great job when asked to help out. He even does it with a happy heart. Pretty good looking garlic bread wouldn't you say?

Moroni is an excellent homemade pancacke maker. It never fails when we have pancakes or waffles, Grandma and Grandpa Bates' names come up. OH and always the memories of their blueberry waffles and syrup! Yum!!

Cheylee had a birthday that we needed to "budget" for so her and Jacob decided to make one at home. We looked at some cakes at the store, came home and came up with this design. I thought they did pretty good for a last minute thing. No help from Mom. ( That's why it looks so good ;D ) I think we could have called it Death by Chocolate. MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Just a little Homeschool humor. The kids had so much fun together on Labor Day. Mike and Kristine and family, Ben and Chris and family, and Rick and I and family and Ron Robinson (no relation) a good friend from Church , were all there. There were hot dogs, ribs, chips, tennis, basketball, soccer, and play ground equiptment. Oh, and lots of talking. Missed the rest of you though!
